'First Steps'
Group Puppy Class

Welcoming a new puppy into your life is an exciting adventure, but can also feel overwhelming, especially living in the big city. Don’t know where to start or just want to brush up on your handler skills and broaden your training tool kit? Look no further! This 5-week puppy course is designed to help you build a strong, trusting bond with your pup while teaching them valuable skills to help them be more confident, happy and successful in this crazy place we call London!

Our 'First Steps' puppy class focuses on encouraging and reinforcing desirable behaviours as well as providing you with the tools and knowledge to appropriately manage the common challenges of puppy development. This is done in a way that’s both fun and effective, so your puppy can feel empowered to make better choices and build the best relationship with you in the process.
What Will I Learn In This Class?
Foundation Skills: Sit, down, leave it, drop—This class will teach you a range of practical cues and real-world skills to help facilitate polite and reliable behaviours in your puppy.
Recall and Loose Lead Walking: Say goodbye to tugging and pulling! We'll teach your pup how to walk nicely on a leash and improve your puppy’s desire to check in and come back to you.
Prevention and Management Strategies: We will address common puppyhood challenges (e.g., jumping up, nipping, impolite guest greetings) with tips and guidance for managing these behaviours as they develop.
Body Language: Develop an increased understanding of your dog's body language signals and learn how to engage your dog in safe and polite play/interaction with other dogs and humans. Teach your puppy to enjoy petting and handling while still respecting their comfort zone.
